Oven-Fried Keto Sriracha Buffalo Wings
by Amanda Hobbs @ Intelligent Labs
Wed Dec 20 14:21:02 PST 2017
Did you know you can create the same crispiness in a chicken wing in the oven as in as fryer? These wings are super simple to make and only require a few ingredients. The secret ingredient? Baking powder. The wings are coated with baking powder and salt which breaks down the proteins in the skin helping them to brown.. The wings are then baked in a low temp oven to render the fat and then baked at a high temp to allow the skin to become ultra crispy. Last, but not least, the wings are tossed in a delicious buttery, sriracha sauce. They’re just the right amount of heat and a perfect fit to any keto diet. These are great for dinner paired with low carb veggies or as an appetizer for a weekend party.
